A turning point in my walk with Christ came in 2012. Through the Holy Spirit my eyes were opened to the fact that my Christian life up till then, had not been one of full commitment and willingness to follow Christ in every aspect of my life. During this time of drawing closer to God, I committed to go to wherever God could use me to the glory of His Name and to further His Kingdom.

In July 2023, God called me and opened the door for my daughter and I to come to Thailand. My heart is to help women and children and through love and care, bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

I serve at Home of the Swallow in their nursery. Home of the Swallow, reaches out to disadvantaged mothers in Northern Thailand, who have unplanned pregnancies and are facing cultural and/or family pressure to abort or reject their child. The commitment to these women and children is long term. They are provided with opportunities for education, counselling, life-skill training, parenting training and spiritual and emotional support.

The nursery provides a safe, educational, and affordable daycare for the children of these parents. My role at the nursery is to support the staff in daily duties, introduce new activities for the children and help with training the staff to run the nursery in a more efficient way. I help with all the daily duties of washing and feeding as well as doing creative and educational activities with the children, and above all I love and care for these little ones who so desperately need love.
