Imran and Nina, with their sons Joshua and Aaron, abruptly fled to Chiang Mai Thailand in 2012 after being persecuted for their faith in their home country of Pakistan. Despite having to abandon their former lives, they continue to be a light for Christ. Imran and Nina both have degrees from a Bible College in Pakistan. Imran has a background as an Athletics Director overseeing thousands of students, which gives him knowledge and experience with community activities and events. They have a weekly home group as well as weekly youth activities in the community which is made up of mostly Thai families. Nina has blessed dozens with her delicious cooking and servant heart. She also assists in a local home school where Joshua and Aaron attend. Imran also serves in an administration role at the Family Connection Foundation and at a local international church, Chiang Mai Christian Fellowship. They are adjusting to their new home, building new friendships and community. They continue to cling to Christ and demonstrate His love by their generous and serving spirit. As a family they are truly changing the lives of every person they come into contact with as Christ’s love pours out from them. God has led them to Chiang Mai for His purpose and they will continue to serve Him and build meaningful relationships.
