Judi Ogle, with her late husband Gary, both graduated from Columbia International University. They spent the 18 years in rural pastoral ministry in Maine and Colorado. They have three sons and two grandchildren.

When God called them away from pastoral ministry to care for Gary’s aging parents, He gave them a desire to minister to other pastoral families in whatever way God led.  Over the last decade, they have ministered to pastoral couples through En Gedi Retreat, which has two retreat homes.  One is in Judi’s ‘back yard’.  She is able to invite families to her home and maintains the home, preparing it for guests.  Those who come are in need of rest, refreshment and time to spend with the Lord and family.  She counts it a privilege to offer that through the use of her church’s empty parsonage.

In 2019, God opened another opportunity for the Ogles, in Uganda.  Both had the opportunity to minister in the community of Bukwo, where a hospital was being built.  After God called Gary home in 2021, Judi felt the nudge to be even more involved in this ministry. East Africa has long been on Judi’s heart and she has wanted to minister there for many years, missing an opportunity in 1990 due to chicken pox!  In 2022 she had the opportunity to spend a couple of months there, using her nursing degree and Biblical training to help hire and train staff as well as share the Gospel with students and challenge believers.

These two ministries are dear to her heart and she plans on continuing them as long as she is able.  She also works part time as a nurse at a pregnancy care center in Wyoming and hopes to take all that she does there to the hurting women in Bukwo, many who have suffered from abortion.  As finances allow, she will decrease her time in the US and hopes to spend half of her year teaching and sharing with the people of Bukwo.
