After a brief tour to Israel in October 2018 Lee felt called to return to serve the people she fell in love with

there. Visas are tricky, requiring "out of country time" so Lee has had to be creative in being able to return to serve in Israel.

Being a chef for over 20 years brought her much joy as she’d used her skill and gifts caring for others. In this same vein, Lee traveled back to Israel and spent January 2020 thru June 2021 cooking for staff and volunteers with a Christian organization in Jerusalem. Lee returned again in 2022 thru 2023 to serve with CMJ Israel in the Tel Aviv area where she again used her chef skills cooking for travelers staying in their guest house. She also served in a soup kitchen once a week serving the homeless, drug addicts and prostitutes. Being able to live and serve in this area has brought great joy and fulfillment.

Finally after a required year away, Lee was able to return to Israel July 2025 where she is currently serving with an organization in Jerusalem called Bridges for Peace. They do practical help building the bridge between Christians and Jews. She will be serving there until mid October. Pray as Lee continues to explore visa options and long term service in Israel.
