CCAT Mission: To promote mental health and wholistic healing in Thai society through education and Christian counseling.

At CCAT, our mission is rooted in the love of Christ to serve and transform the Christian community and mission efforts in Thailand. Through our pioneering Lay Counseling Training programs, we empower pastors and educators, equipping them to offer essential mental health support guided by Christian principles. As stewards of God's grace, we strive to amplify our impact by providing essential resources and publications, nurturing wholistic healing and growth within our community.

CCAT Vision: 1 Counselor for 1 Community

CCAT operates on Christian principles, aiming to assist pastors, educators, and individuals in need. This initiative was prompted by a significant rise in mental health issues over the past decade in Thailand, coupled with the country's high suicide rate compared to other Southeast Asian nations. Furthermore, there is a shortage of mental health professionals in Thailand, with only 1.3 psychiatrists and 1.6 psychologists per 100,000 people (Source: WHO and Thai Health 2023). CCAT was established with the goal of providing essential support and resources to address these challenges that are guided by Christian values. There is an urgency to equip pastors, educators, and individuals to provide mental health care in their communities. Therefore, our vision is to create 1 counselor for 1 community.
